(FBISE) announces date for matric intermediate exam results

ISLAMABAD; Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary education FBISE on Sunday announced the date for the release of SSC part- II and intermediate exam results  ARY News reported.

As per details, the FBISE will announce SSC part-II examination results in the first week of July, while the Intermediate exam results will be announced in the third week of the next month.

FBISE: Cherman: Rao Atiq Ahmed has summoned the Board of Governors meeting on June 30 to seek approval for the promotion policy and postpone examinations.

Earlier today, the federal government has asked the provincial authorities to come up with their proposals to resume academic activities amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Ministry of Education sought proposals to reopen education institutes on a trial basis in the country. It will convene an inter-provincial conference of education ministers to thrash out a strategy to resume.

After months of talks and trials WhatsApp has finally pulled the trigger on payments in its app. Today the Facebook owned messaging service announced that users in Brazil would be the first to be able to send and receive money by way of it's messaging app using Facebook Pay the payments service WhatsApp owner Facebook launched last year.

گولف نیوز کے مطابق سعودی عرب کی وزارت حج و عمرہ کے ایک اعلیٰ عہدیدا  نے برطانوی اخبار فنانشل ٹائمز سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ مملکت میں کورونا وائرس کے کیسز کی تعداد ایک لاکھ سے تجاوز کرچکی ہے اس لیے حکومت رواں سال حج منسوخ کرنے پر غور کررہی ہے۔انہوں نے کہا اس معاملے کو انتہائی سنجیدگی سے لیا جارہا ہے اور اس سے متعلق ہر پہلو کا گہرا جائزہ لیاجارہاہے جبکہ باضابطہ اعلان ایک ہفتے کے اندر کردیاجائے گا۔

RAWALPINDI | Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, who recently tested positive for coronavirus, has been admitted to a hospital.

The family sources, however denied that the Awami Muslim League {AML} leader was shifted to a hospital over any complications due to COVID-19.

'He is in a stable condition and is only shifted to a hospital as a precautionary measures' they said.

It is pertinent to mention here that Sheikh Rashid Ahmad tested positive for coronavirus on June 08. A spokesperson for Pakistan Railways told media that the federal minister went into self-isolation at his home after testing positive  for the infection.

KARACHI; COVID-19 rang alarm bells in Karachi as over 1,300 people have died in the port city in just 10 days.

According to the statistics released by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation {KMC} today over 1,300 dead bodies were brought to various graveyards in the metropolis during June 1 to 10. Karachi has witnessed 40 per cent increase in mortality rate during the current month, the report said and added that the situation had started worsening since 10th of Ramazan.

The report said that 2,375 had died in Karachi during the whole month of June last year.

تفصیلات کے مطابق فیصل آباد کے ڈاکٹرز پر کورونا وائرس کے وار جاری ہیں اور الائیڈ ہسپتال ، ڈسٹرکٹ ہیڈ کوارٹر ہسپتال اور کورونا سینٹر غلام محمد آباد سمیت مختلف ہسپتالوں کے 50 مزید ڈاکٹرز میں کورونا وائرس کی تصدیق ہو گئی ہے۔ محکمہ صحت کے مطابق اب تک 254 ڈاکٹرز میں کورونا وائرس کی تصدیق ہو چکی ہے جن میں سے 30 ڈاکٹرز صحت یاب ہو کر ڈیوٹی پر واپس آ چکے ہ
